We expect the Bulgarian export in 2019 to exceed 57 billion. This forecast was made by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Alexander Manolev, during the opening of the Bulgarian-Japanese business forum in Sofia.

The event was also attended by Ambassador of Japan to Bulgaria H.E. Makoto Watanabe, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency Stamen Yanev, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Trade and Industry Council Georgi Stoev and others.

A Japanese delegation led by Satoshi Abe, Director General of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), also arrived in Bulgaria to participate in the forum.
